Using data from Laser Scanning of any sort

This is to gauge whether any of you out there in the VFX World have used digital data produced by laser scanning in your work pipeline. This could be aerial LIDAR data, terrestrial LIDAR data, Cyberscanning data or close range sub-millimetre laser scan data. Please feel free to expand upon your clicked response by posting a comment. There is if you want it. Make a suggestion Watts. It was really a poll to create a forum of responses. Looks like we're in a forum of two though!!
