Raised in the tropics of the 808, I have always loved movies, first just watching them and then wanting to be a part of the creative process. However, my career choices at the time led to me a life in architecture which I practiced for over 15 years all the while still dreaming in celluloid at 24 frames per second. Armed with lots of art training and a profound interest in all things 3D, I left Hawaii in 1999 and hopped across the pond to SoCal to pursue my cinematic dreams. Then in 2003, after going back to school part-time for about a year, the nice folks at Rhythm and Hues gave me my first break hiring me as a Matchmove TD.
Since then the ride has gotten even sweeter and groovier.
