While at MIT, I studied computer science (computer graphics programming) and electrical engineering (signal processing). I wanted a profession to combine my passions for computers, signal processing, music and art, and feature animation/ VFX was a perfect fit!
I started off my VFX career at Pixar in 2003, as a Technical Director intern, developing shaders.
I then moved to ILM, working fulltime while going to graduate school at Academy of Art fulltime, working on notable projects such as Pirates2 (academy award winning), Chicken Little (first Disney Real3D film).
I helped with the California Academy of Sciences' Planetarium show, "Fragile Planet," in 2008 for the museum's grand reopening.
Most recently, I was the main Technical Director for the award winning "Halo:Reach" trailer for Bungie's E3 announcement in 2009.
